In Kathmandu, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of the city's UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including visits to the historic cities of Patan and Bhaktapur. As an optional addition, you can extend your journey to the hill stations of Nagarkot or Dhulikhel for a day, renowned for their stunning mountain viewpoints and hiking trails.

Pokhara, known for its awe-inspiring natural beauty, offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu mountain ranges. The city is also home to serene lakes such as Fewa, Begnas, and the more remote Rara, providing a picturesque backdrop that will leave you captivated throughout your adventure.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuwan International Airport
Welcome to Nepal! Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be warmly greeted by our representative, who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. After check-in, you can relax and recover from your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the local area, stroll through the vibrant streets, or unwind at the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner featuring delicious Nepali cuisine and receive a brief overview of the itinerary and activities for the upcoming days.
Day 02: Everest Sightseeing Mountain Flight with City Sightseeing Tour
Start your day with an exhilarating mountain flight that offers breathtaking views of Mount Everest and the majestic Himalayan range. This one-hour flight will give you an unforgettable aerial perspective of the world's highest peaks. After the flight, return to your hotel for breakfast. Following breakfast, embark on a comprehensive city sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, which includes visits to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), An ancient religious complex perched atop a hill, offering panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley. Pashupatinath Temple, One of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, is situated on the Bagmati River's banks. Boudhanath Stupa, One of the largest stupas in Nepal, is a central hub for Tibetan Buddhism in Kathmandu. Kathmandu Durbar Square:* A historic royal square featuring palaces, courtyards, and a temple complex. Enjoy a traditional Nepali lunch at a local restaurant. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan with Half Day White Water River Rafting
After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive towards Chitwan. En route, you will experience the thrill of white water river rafting on the Trishuli River. This half-day adventure offers an exciting blend of rapids and serene stretches, making it suitable for beginners and experienced rafters. After the rafting experience, enjoy a riverside lunch before continuing your journey to Chitwan National Park, which is approximately a 5-6 hour drive. Upon arrival in Chitwan, check into your jungle lodge. In the evening, attend a briefing about the activities available in the park. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 04: Full-Day Jungle Safari Tour at Chitwan National Park
Today is dedicated to exploring the rich biodiversity of Chitwan National Park. The day's activities include an Elephant Safari: Ride through the dense jungle on an elephant, watching for wildlife such as one-horned rhinoceros, deer, and possibly even the elusive Bengal tiger. A Canoe Ride is a peaceful trip along the Rapti River to spot crocodiles, water birds, and other aquatic life. A Jungle Walk is a guided walk through the jungle to learn about the diverse flora and fauna. Bird Watching, Chitwan is a paradise for birdwatchers, with over 500 species of birds. Enjoy a cultural dance performance by the local Tharu community in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 05: Drive from Chitwan to Pokhara
After breakfast, Drive from Chitwan to Pokhara, a picturesque lakeside city and gateway to the Annapurna region. The trip takes about 4-5 hours. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. In the afternoon, take a leisurely boat ride on Phewa Lake, visit the Tal Barahi Temple on an island in the lake, and explore the charming lakeside area. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Sunrise Tour at Sarangkot and Sightseeing Tour at Pokhara
Begin your day with an early morning drive to Sarangkot to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. The panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks bathed in the golden light of dawn are truly mesmerizing. Afterward, return to your hotel for breakfast. Spend the rest of the day exploring Pokhara's natural and cultural attractions, including Davis Falls, a unique waterfall that flows directly into a deep, narrow canyon, and Gupteshwor Cave, a cave with a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. The International Mountain Museum showcases the Himalayas' history, culture, and biodiversity: Bindhyabasini Temple, A beautiful temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 07: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu, which takes about 6-7 hours. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Spend the afternoon leisurely, shopping for souvenirs, visiting local markets, or exploring any sites you might have missed earlier. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Departure
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or exploration. Our representative will then assist you with your transfer to Tribhuwan International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable Nepal Golden Tour. Safe travels!
