Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Thimphu (2,320m/7,610ft) via landing Paro: 54 km/33,75miles, 1 hour
On your arrival in Thimpu, you will be escorted to your Hotel in Thimpu. Spend the rest of the day strolling around the city.
Day 02: Thimphu to Punakha (1,250m/4,100 ft): 76 km/47.5miles, 2 - 3 hours
From Thimphu, you’ll travel to Punakha, a journey that takes roughly 2-3 hours. Thimphu is a city that encapsulates the Bhutan between old and new, and reputedly the only capital without traffic lights.
Day 03: Punakha to Paro (2,250m/7,382ft): 130 km/81,25miles, 4 hours
Drive to Paro, which takes about 4 hours. The path goes along the river Paro chhu till Chudzom. From here you ride the Wang chu upstream to the small town of Simtokha and then turn right towards the east climbing to the Dochula pass (3,080 m), Where you get the chance to see the eastern Himalayan peaks. After the Lobesa junction the road goes north passing the beautiful village and farmlands to Punakha.
Day 04: Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (3048m/10,000ft)11.7km/8 miles 3-4 hours
Today you will hike to Taktsang Monastery (tiger's Nest monastery). A steep uphill climb will take you to the monastery. The Tiger's nest monastery is one of the holy pilgrimage sites & the most photographed spot of Paro valley.
Day 05: Paro fly to Kathmandu :airport pick up and welcome dinner with cultural program.
From Paro, you will fly straight to Kathmandu. You’ll cross high mountain passes and feast your eyes on views of clear blue lakes amongst a backdrop of the Himalayas. On your arrival, you will be greeted by our guide & escorted to your Hotel.
Day 06: Sightseeing tour Basantapur/Kathmandu Durbar square & Soyambhunath Monkey Temple,Boudhanath and Pashupatinath 5-6 hours
Kickstart your day with a visit to Basantapur, known for Kathmandu Durbar Square. Next, you will visit Swayambhunath Stupa(monkey temple), which is one of the oldest Buddhist sites in Nepal Followed by Detour of Boudhanath & Pashupatinath, UNESCO world heritage sites.
Day 07: Scenic mountain flight and Sightseeing tour to Patan, Bhaktapur 5-6 hours
Take a peaceful breather in the Himalayas with scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu. Soak atmosphere of High Himalayas & return for a visit to Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Nepal
Day 08: Drive to Chitwan: arrive and nature tour - 4-5 hours drive
Today you’ll take a bus to Chitwan through countryside roads. This takes about 5 hours. You will experience the misty landscapes of Chitwan.
Day 09: full day Nature tour including Elephant safari
Today you will explore Chitwan & take a visit to Chitwan National Park. Glide along twisting rivers in a canoe at dawn, watching golden light flood the plains, and watch elephants gather at the shores in the early morning haze. Take a walking safari, sleep in a scenic bungalow and sail past crocodiles sunning themselves on the riverbank. It’s a rustic outdoor experience that will bolt your eyes wide open.
Day 10: Drive to Pokhara and city tour 4 hours’ drive and 2 hours tour
You’ll take the bus to Pokhara, a 6-hour journey away. Spend your time in peaceful Pokhara, where snowy peaks reflect in the calm waters of the Phewa Lake, prayer flags flutter and Buddhist chants seep from every doorway.
Day 11: full day city tour with Sarangkot sunset view. 5-6 hours
While in Pokhara, you will visit some of the popular spots of Pokhara one of them is Sarangkot. The hike to Sarangkot is about a 3-hour uphill walk from Pokhara. Catch beautiful sunrise & sunset views from the view tower at Sarangkot.
Day 12: Drive Back to Kathmandu and farewell dinner
On this day, you will return to Kathmandu alongside countryside roads. The scenic drive to Kathmandu is exciting.
Day 13: Final departure
After having the morning breakfast, you will be escorted to the Paro international airport for your final departure.
