Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Paro and drive to Thimphu (2,320m/7,610ft): 54 km/33.75miles, 1 hour
Once you land in Paro our representative will pick you & drive you straight to Thimpu. You will visit the charming Thimphu city which is the capital of Bhutan. This journey covers a visit to Rinpung Dzong & a few places of historical importance. Later you will settle in at a Hotel in Thimpu for overnight stay.
Day 02: Sightseeing tour in Thimphu 4-5 hours
Today you will take a visit to famous landmarks of the Thimphu city. Initially, you will visit the National Memorial Chorten, followed by the National library where you get to see the ancient manuscripts. On having lunch you will visit the textile Museum & arts & crafts school. Overnight: Thimphu
Day 03: Thimphu to Punakha (1,250m/4,100ft): 76 km/47.5miles, 2 hours drive
Having a morning breakfast, you will drive to Punakha. Catch Wangdi river along the way & continue to Wangdue Phodrang Dzong. Stop by Dochula Pass & enjoy mesmerizing views of Himalayan Peaks. Discover 108 chortens at Dochula Pass & continue driving till Punakha. Overnight Punakha
Day 04: Sightseeing tour in Punakha -4-5 hours
Today you will take a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang temple, a Buddhist monastery in Punakha District. This temple is believed to bless women who seek fertility. Past Chimi Lhakhang temple, you will drive towards North to the majestic Punakha Dzong, a temple built-in 1637. Overnight: Punakha
Day 05: Punakha to Bumthang (2,850m/9,350ft): 214 km/133.75miles 7 hours
Today you will drive to Bumthang, through winding road crossing Pele La pass. You will stop by Trongsa for lunch and later visit Trongsa Dzong, a Bhutanese architectural masterpiece. Progressing through lush valleys & hilly forests you will stop by Yathra, a textile weaving factory. Overnight in Bumthang
Day 06: Sightseeing tour in Bumthang -4-5 hours
Today you will visit TamshingMonastery (one of Terton Pema Lingpa's oldest monastic schools), and KurjeyLhakhang. You will also visit Jambay Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. During the afternoon, you will take a visit to Jakar Dzong, hike to Thangbi valley across the suspension bridge. overnight: Bumthang
Day 07: Bumthang to Wangdue (1,240m/4,068ft): 197 km/123.13miles, 6 hours
Today you will visit TamshingMonastery (one of Terton Pema Lingpa's oldest monastic schools), and KurjeyLhakhang. You will also visit Jambay Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. During the afternoon, you will take a visit to Jakar Dzong, hike to Thangbi valley across the suspension bridge. overnight: Bumthang
Day 08: Short tour in Wangdue and drive to Paro: 124 km/77.5 miles, 3 - 4 hours
The Wangdue, a small business town is just 3-4 hours away from Paro city. The town's formidable Dzong is its most visible feature. In the 17th century, Wangdue played a critical role in unifying the western, central and southern Bhutanese districts. On having lunch you will head for Paro, a small charming city. Overnight: Paro
Day 09: Hike to Tiger Nest Monastery (3180m/10,430 ft)
On this day you will hike to Taktsang Monastery(tiger's Nest monastery). A steep uphill climb will take you to the monastery which is awe-inspiring for many. The Tiger's nest monastery is one of the holy pilgrimage sites & the most photographed spot of Paro valley.
Day 10: Final Departure
After having the morning breakfast, you will be escorted to the Paro international airport for your final departure.
